Realme launched the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition, which the company says features the world’s first quadra light sensing color changing technology integrated into a Hogwarts crest on the rear panel.
The phone has a textured brown rear panel with an Argyle pattern inspired by Wizard’s Chess and a crest that, when exposed to UV light, reveals four colors simultaneously to represent the four Hogwarts houses, Realme says.
Additional Harry Potter design elements include an engraved frame reading "Welcome to Hogwarts," a metal mirror camera decoration inspired by Harry’s owl Hedwig, and a custom user interface with themed icons, lockscreen designs, wallpapers and camera filters.
Realme will ship the special edition in a custom gifting box inspired by a Hogwarts trunk. The box, limited to 5,000 units worldwide, includes a Hogwarts acceptance letter, a Platform 9¾ train ticket, bookmarks, character postcards, a custom phone case and a SIM ejector tool.
Realme says the Harry Potter model is identical to the standard Realme 16 Pro in hardware. It uses a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 200MP main rear camera, a Dimensity 7300-Max chipset and a 7,000mAh battery.
The phone is configured with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and is priced at INR 62,999 in India. It will go on sale tomorrow.
The handset is Realme’s second smartphone collaboration with Warner Bros., following the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition.
Realme also introduced the Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition alongside the phone. The earbuds come in a brown charging case with the Hogwarts logo and other themed design elements, and Realme says their specifications match the standard Buds T500 Pro.
The earbuds are priced at INR 6,999 and will also go on sale tomorrow.
