Xiaomi TV S Pro RGB-Mini LED 2027: 5,000 nits, 4K 180Hz

According to Gizmochina's Soumyakanti on September 23, 2026, Xiaomi has launched the TV S Pro RGB-Mini LED 2027 lineup, its first series to use direct red, green and blue Mini LED emitters. The range arrives in four sizes, from 65 inches up to a 98-inch model, and ships now in China.

The new hardware targets high brightness and color fidelity with a rated peak luminance of 5,000 nits and native 4K at 180Hz for gaming and video playback. Xiaomi bills the series as the company’s debut RGB-Mini LED television, and the company says the displays can cover 100% of the BT.2020 color space while cutting power use by about 30% in single-color scenes versus its 2026 models.

RGB-Mini LED, brightness and dimming

Rather than a conventional white backlight filtered by color layers, these sets use separate red, green and blue light sources. That direct RGB approach is paired with dense local dimming: the 65-inch model features 2,160 dimming zones, while the 98-inch version increases that count to 4,860. Xiaomi also fits a low-reflection coating that it says brings overall screen reflection down to 1.8% to help in bright rooms.

For gamers and fast-action content the TVs support Variable Refresh Rate, MEMC motion smoothing and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. Connectivity includes four HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC), Wi-Fi 6, Ethernet and standard USB inputs.

Under the hood the S Pro series runs on a quad-core Cortex-A73 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, operating on HyperOS 4. The system integrates a millimeter-wave radar sensor to detect viewer position and adjust the picture accordingly.

Audio comes from a 130W 2.1.2-channel speaker system with upward-firing channels and a built-in subwoofer, tuned by Harman. The Bluetooth remote adds NFC for casting and charges over USB-C.

The design is straightforward and metal-framed. Xiaomi lists the 65-inch model at 49.7mm thick and the 98-inch at 54.9mm; both accept a slim wall mount that leaves a 5mm gap from the wall.

The Xiaomi TV S Pro RGB-Mini LED 2027 is available now in China. Pricing for the four configurations is 65-inch (2,160 dimming zones) 5,999 yuan ($894), 75-inch (2,880 dimming zones) 6,999 yuan ($1,043), 85-inch (3,744 dimming zones) 8,799 yuan ($1,311) and 98-inch (4,860 dimming zones) 12,999 yuan ($1,937).
