Honor X9e Pro debuts with 11,000mAh battery in Malaysia

Honor announced the X9e Pro in Malaysia on 24 September 2026, reported by Michail. The handset's defining features are an 11,000mAh battery and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip, a combination Honor positions as delivering extended runtime without sacrificing midrange performance.

Battery and charging

The X9e Pro carries an 11,000mAh typical capacity, the same typical capacity as the Honor X80 Pro Max that launched earlier in June. Honor attributes the large capacity to silicon-carbon anode technology. In Honor's lab tests the company reports the phone can exceed 164 hours of music streaming, 35 hours of short-form video playback and well over 66 hours of regular video playback. Honor also states a six-year battery health expectancy when the device is used on average six hours per day.

For recharging, the phone supports 80W wired charging. It also offers 27W reverse wired charging so the device can serve as a portable power bank for other gadgets.

Display, cameras and other specs

The X9e Pro uses a 6.8-inch LTPS AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Honor highlights a 10,000-nit peak brightness figure, but notes that this level is achievable only in isolated spots during HDR video playback.

On the front, Honor upgraded the selfie camera to 16MP, up from the 8MP front shooter on the X80 Pro Max. The rear camera system keeps a 108MP main sensor sized at 1/1.67 inch, accompanied by a 5MP ultrawide module.

Hardware includes a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor, 8GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. The phone runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. Honor also gives the X9e Pro an IP69K ingress protection rating and says its lab testing included 100,000 repeated water submersion tests.

Color options listed by Honor are Royal Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold and Midnight Black. Pricing in Malaysia starts at MYR 1,899 (USD 464) for the 8/256GB model and MYR 2,399 (USD 587) for the 512GB version.
