Caviar’s Black Edition iPhone 18 Pro and Duo Remove Cameras

Caviar has unveiled a Black Edition collection of heavily modified iPhone 18 models that foreground an entirely blacked-out aesthetic and, on some variants, the physical removal of camera modules. The lineup covers the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the foldable iPhone Duo, with several tiers that range from leather and gold detailing to camera-free designs aimed at restricted environments.

Design and camera removal

The Supersonic iPhone 18 Pro and the Ultimate iPhone Duo are the most radical models. Both do away with the rear camera bumps and replace them with a flat, uninterrupted panel made from aerospace-grade titanium (a lightweight, high-strength titanium commonly used in aircraft and industrial applications). Caviar says it has also disabled the front-facing cameras at the hardware level; according to the company, these camera-free designs are intended for users in secure corporate or government environments where devices with cameras are prohibited.

With the lenses removed, the rear becomes a single sheet of metal. The Supersonic model uses a satin finish to reduce reflections, while the Ultimate iPhone Duo has a vertical brushed finish that shifts between black and graphite depending on lighting. Both include a flush, blacked-out Apple logo that blends into the chassis rather than standing proud of the back panel.

If a phone that can still take pictures is preferable, Caviar offers four other models in the collection: Versus, Titanium, Signature, and Prestige. These retain the standard Apple camera hardware but replace the factory glass backs with alternative materials such as black crocodile leather, exposed titanium screws, and 999-fine gold plating. The Signature and Prestige variants specifically use V-shaped gold inserts set against the black leather and metal, with the designs emphasizing texture over bright color.

None of these exterior modifications change the internal processing specifications, battery, or software of the base iPhones. Customers are paying for a bespoke chassis and a limited production run rather than altered electronics or performance.

Pricing and availability

Caviar is making 19 units of each model. Prices begin at $10,560 for the leather-backed Versus iPhone 18 Pro and rise to $10,770 for the camera-free Supersonic version. The foldable iPhone Duo models are priced higher, starting at $13,410 for the Titanium version and topping out at $13,990 for the camera-free Ultimate edition. Each device ships in a custom lockable box and includes a gold-plated commemorative coin.
