Vivo has announced the global launch of the X Fold 6, extending the foldable introduced earlier in China and emphasizing high-resolution imaging and a large-capacity battery alongside slim hardware and productivity-focused software.
Displays and design
The X Fold 6 uses an 8.02-inch 2K+ LTPO AMOLED inner display with a 2,504 by 2,312 pixel resolution and a 6.51-inch cover screen at 2,528 by 1,120 pixels. Both panels support a 1 to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, Dolby Vision and a peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits.

Vivo highlights a slim profile: the Prism Black version measures 4.4 millimeters when unfolded and weighs 228 grams, while the Horizon Blue variant measures 4.8 millimeters and weighs 235 grams. The global model is offered in Prism Black and Horizon Blue and carries dust and water resistance ratings listed as IP58, IP59, IPX8 and IPX9.
Performance and software
The device is powered by a 3 nanometer MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset paired with up to 16 gigabytes of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 terabyte of UFS 4.1 storage. It runs OriginOS 7 Fold based on Android 17 and includes productivity features such as Multi-Task Workbench, Multi-Split Screen and AI Cross-App Drag.

Vivo also ships a suite of AI tools and assistants on the X Fold 6, including AI Meeting Assistant, AI File Manager, AI Reader Mode and the Jovi AI agent.
Imaging, battery and charging
The X Fold 6 carries a triple rear camera array led by a 200 megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization and ZEISS T star coating, supported by a 50 megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50 megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera.

Both the inner and cover displays house 20 megapixel selfie cameras. Imaging capabilities include 4K 60 frames per second Dolby Vision recording and a 100x ZEISS HyperZoom mode.

Powering the phone is a 6,900 milliampere hour battery with support for 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
Price and availability
Vivo has confirmed a global launch but has not disclosed international pricing or specific market availability. The company says pricing and availability will be announced according to individual markets. Configurations will vary by market.
