The emerging brand AI+, a subsidiary of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies led by former Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth, is set to launch its inaugural smartphones by mid-July 2025. Initially announced for a June release, the launch has been rescheduled to July, as per updates from the online retailer Flipkart.
Design and Features
Flipkart has showcased images of two AI+ smartphone models. The first model is available in five distinct colors and features a dual-camera setup on the rear panel, with the primary camera boasting a 50-megapixel sensor. The second model bears a resemblance to the AI+ Nova 2 5G, characterized by a flat design, dual rear cameras, and a power button accented in red. Madhav Sheth has shared images of all available color variants for this model on his X (formerly Twitter) account. AI+ has highlighted that this device offers a lightweight design, dual SIM support, and smooth performance.

Commitment to Privacy and Security
A standout feature of AI+ smartphones is their strong focus on user privacy and data security. The brand promises to provide users with genuine control over their data, offering transparent cloud services and ensuring a secure, auditable, and privacy-centric experience by default. The proprietary operating system, NxtQuantum OS, is designed in compliance with Indian regulations. It is auditable, and all user data is stored within India on servers approved by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, hosted on Google Cloud.

Availability and Future Products
While the official names of the AI+ smartphones have not been disclosed, they will be sold exclusively through Flipkart. Additionally, AI+ plans to expand its product lineup by introducing a new smartwatch and wireless earbuds in the near future.

Conclusion
AI+ is entering the smartphone market with a strong emphasis on design, performance, and, notably, user privacy and data security. With the upcoming launch of their devices and plans for additional products, AI+ aims to establish a significant presence in the tech industry by addressing key consumer concerns and preferences.
