The EV4 operated at 90-95% of its maximum output during the Nürburgring sessions, with multiple hyperfast charging cycles between laps. Impressively, after all the stress of both the racetrack and real-world conditions, the EV4’s battery retained a healthy 95% of its original capacity. Kia guarantees that public models will maintain at least 70% of their battery capacity after 100,000 miles (160,000 km) or eight years of standard use—a testament to the EV4’s exceptional reliability.

Modern Design and Robust Specifications

Built on a modern 400-volt electric vehicle platform, every EV4 is equipped with a front-mounted 201 hp electric motor, promising versatile performance regardless of trim. In the United States, the standard EV4 will feature a 58.3 kWh battery pack, while the flagship variant boasts a more generous 81.4 kWh battery, offering substantial range and flexibility for a variety of drivers.
