If battery life were a superpower, Poco just handed it to anyone who buys the M8 Power. The headline figure is impossible to miss: an 8,000 mAh cell that the company says can deliver roughly 28 hours of video playback, 14 hours of gaming, 31 hours of social browsing, 11 hours of navigation, or up to 38 days on standby. Who needs a power bank now?

Charging is sensible, not flashy—45W wired fast charging for top-ups and 22.5W reverse wired charging to revive other gadgets. That combination makes the phone feel practical in day-to-day use: long endurance plus the option to share juice when needed.

Screen lovers get a 6.9-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Smooth scrolling, punchy colors, and a fingerprint scanner tucked under the display. Gorilla Glass 7i protects the surface, keeping the display crisp after a few knocks and slips.

Under the hood sits Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 4, paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There’s a dedicated microSD slot for those who hoard photos and videos. The phone runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16; it’s refreshingly clear where Poco wants this device to sit in the market—affordable, long-lasting, and up-to-date.

Poco promises four major Android updates and six years of security updates for the M8 Power.

Camera setup is straightforward: a 50 MP primary shooter using Light Fusion 400 as the main imaging engine, and an 8 MP front camera for selfies. Two usable cameras, no gimmicks—Poco focused on what people actually use every day.

The M8 Power also carries an IP65 rating, a USB-C port, and a familiar slab build that measures 8.45 mm thick and weighs 225 g. Color options include Blaze Orange, Black, and Green, so the phone doesn’t have to be anonymous on a desk full of devices.

Poco is launching the M8 Power in India in two trims: 6 GB/128 GB priced at INR 24,999 and 8 GB/128 GB at INR 27,999. Sales begin on Flipkart from August 7, which means you won’t have to wait long to test the battery life claims for yourself.

It’s the fourth model in Poco’s M8 lineup, but its bold battery and sensible feature set make it feel like a fresh direction—practical, outspoken, and built for people who value uptime as much as specs.
