Christopher Lambert Collapses at Comic-Con: What Happened?

Fans who lined up for photos and autographs at Steel City Comic-Con in Pittsburgh were left shocked when Christopher Lambert suddenly fainted during his appearance.

One moment he was smiling for selfies and signing memorabilia; the next he slumped and attendants called for medical help. Social media filled with images of the star mid-appearance and eyewitness accounts that an ambulance removed him from the hall for treatment.

Representatives later reassured the public: the 69-year-old actor is stable and recovering in his hotel room. According to his publicist, Lambert had not slept well the night before and had eaten very little that day, a combination that triggered low blood sugar and caused him to lose consciousness.

His team says there is no cause for alarm and fans should not worry.

He’s also remembered as Raiden in Mortal Kombat and had a role in Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, with his most recent screen credit being the 2025 film The Creeps.
