Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra gain larger batteries

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra were certified for sale in China by the 3C authority on 18 September 2026. The 3C entries, noted in a post by Vlad, reveal the models' wired charging capability and detailed battery ratings.

The listings show both phones support 60W wired charging, the same wired charging rate used by this year's Galaxy S26 Ultra. In other words, wired charging speed appears unchanged from the S26 Ultra according to the 3C entries.

Battery specifications

The Galaxy S27 Ultra is listed with a rated battery capacity of 5,534 mAh. The filing indicates a likely typical advertised capacity of about 5,700 mAh, which the listing says would be 700 mAh more than its predecessor.

The Galaxy S27 Pro is listed with a rated capacity of 5,087 mAh, which would likely be promoted as a typical capacity of roughly 5,200 mAh. Despite the Pro model's smaller size, the 3C entry indicates its battery will also be larger than the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

For clarity, the 3C listing records rated cell capacities, while manufacturers commonly present a slightly higher typical capacity in marketing materials. The certification therefore gives an early, official view of cell ratings and charging support, though it does not replace a full official specification sheet from Samsung.
