According to a new rumor, the Galaxy S27 Ultra would place its sole telephoto camera on the right side of a wide, iPhone-style camera plateau, with a microphone directly beneath it, unnamed sensors below that, and a circular LED flash at the bottom.
That account also notes the microphone hole appears missing from recent renders circulated by leaker Ice Universe. Ice Universe has responded, asserting instead that the telephoto sits at the bottom of the grouping with the LED flash above it. The two accounts conflict and present differing arrangements for the same module cluster.
Previous leaks had suggested the S27 Ultra will adopt a revamped camera island that spans nearly the full width of the back, while housing the camera modules predominantly on the left portion of that plateau. Multiple reports converge on one substantive change: the S27 Ultra is expected to ship with a single telephoto camera rather than the dual-telephoto setup used in prior Ultra models.
