AnTuTu's December charts are in, and they paint a clear picture: flagship performance is still a tight Snapdragon fight, while MediaTek's Dimensity family largely controls the upper-midrange. Here’s a concise look at who led and what the results mean for buyers and chipmakers.
Flagship leaders — RedMagic pulls ahead
The RedMagic 11 Pro+ topped AnTuTu's flagship table with an average score of 4,118,828. Hot on its heels were the iQOO 15 (4,078,562) and the OnePlus 15 (4,073,184). The Realme GT 8 Pro (4,066,017) and the Honor Win (4,054,673) round out the top five — all powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
Interestingly, the vivo X300 Pro, placing sixth, is the first Dimensity 9500-powered phone to crack the list, while the Oppo Find X9 Pro follows closely with the same MediaTek chip. The Honor Magic8 Pro, Honor Magic8 and nubia Z80 Ultra finish the top ten, returning to Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 dominance.

Upper-midrange shake-up — MediaTek nearly sweeps
In the upper-midrange bracket the Oppo Reno15 Pro and Reno15 lead the pack, both driven by the Dimensity 8450. Close behind are the Realme Neo7 SE (Dimensity 8400-Max), the iQOO Z10 Turbo (Dimensity 8400) and the Oppo K13 Turbo (Dimensity 8450).
Remarkably, nine of the ten entries in this chart use MediaTek Dimensity SoCs. Only one phone — the Realme GT Neo6 SE — uses a Snapdragon (7+ Gen 3), coming in at ninth. That imbalance underscores how strongly MediaTek is positioned in the midrange, while Qualcomm's presence in this segment appears limited.

Tablet leaderboard — Honor tops, but variety grows
The Honor MagicPad3 Pro 13.3 won the tablet chart with an average score of 4,033,256 — not surprising given that it’s the only tablet using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The Oppo Pad 4 Pro and OnePlus Pad 2 Pro follow, both powered by the earlier Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Notably, the H3C MegaBook places fourth powered by the Intel Core Ultra 5 228V, showing the laptop/tablet crossover still has teeth. The Lenovo Legion Y700 (Gen 4), RedMagic Astra and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro sit next, all on Snapdragon 8 Elite. MediaTek finally appears in eighth with the vivo Pad5 Pro (Dimensity 9400), followed by the iQOO Pad5 Pro and Redmi K Pad using Dimensity 9400+ chips.

What this means for consumers and the market
So what should buyers take away? If raw flagship performance is your priority, Snapdragon-powered phones still dominate the podiums. But if you’re shopping midrange devices, MediaTek’s Dimensity chips offer strong performance and broad availability — they effectively control that tier right now.
For chipmakers, the message is clear: MediaTek is winning midrange share, Qualcomm remains strong at the top but needs a bigger footprint in the midrange, and ARM-based tablets are showing more SoC variety as Intel and MediaTek make inroads.
Curious which model suits your needs? If gaming and peak performance matter, prioritize devices featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. If value and balanced performance are your goal, Dimensity-equipped midrange phones are a compelling choice.
