The store says internal data shows PlayStation 5 preorders for GTA 6 running roughly six times higher than Xbox Series preorders. Numbers like that are red flags when supply is already tight. Sony, Microsoft and Rockstar have not confirmed those figures, but the warning has industry watchers on edge.

Analysts have been clear for months: GTA 6 isn’t just another release. It has the potential to be one of the biggest launches in gaming history, prompting billions in revenue during its first year and a measurable lift in sales of ninth-generation consoles. When a single title can move hardware demand, retailers and manufacturers take notice.
