The SUV Ultra conquered the demanding German circuit in just 7 minutes, 4.957 seconds—claiming the title as the fastest production electric car to ever lap the 'Green Hell.'

This latest record builds on the SU7 Ultra's heritage of high performance. In October 2024, the prototype version of this four-door electric sedan stunned the automotive world with a certified lap time of just 6 minutes, 46.874 seconds at the Nürburgring—ending a seven-year streak dominated by European and American marques. That lap solidified the SU7 Ultra prototype as the swiftest four-door car ever to tackle the circuit.

Advanced Powertrain and Engineering

Powering the SU7 Ultra is Xiaomi’s in-house developed Super Motor V8s, spinning up to an astounding 27,200 rpm. This cutting-edge electric drivetrain delivers a jaw-dropping 1,548 horsepower, propelling the car from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 1.98 seconds. With a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h), the SU7 Ultra stands among the world’s elite four-door production vehicles.

Before breaking Nürburgring records, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra already earned its reputation as the fastest four-door production car on several other renowned circuits across China, including Chengdu Tianfu Circuit (1:26.741), Zhuzhou International Circuit (1:41.806), Zhuhai International Circuit (1:37.758), and Zhejiang International Circuit (1:32.616).
