Bitcoin ETF inflows reverse October losses
US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs registered another day of net inflows, attracting $137 million on Wednesday and restoring October to positive territory with just two trading sessions remaining. Data from SoSoValue shows the three-day inflow streak totaled about $424 million, bringing October cumulative net inflows to roughly $111 million after earlier heavy withdrawals.
Short-term market picture and price action
Bitcoin (BTC) was trading near $79,848 at the time of reporting, down about 1% over 24 hours according to CoinGecko. Market indicators remained steady, with the Crypto Fear & Greed Index holding at 51, signaling neutral sentiment for a second straight day. Analysts note that renewed ETF demand has helped stabilize sentiment after nearly $774 million exited at the end of last week.

Federal Reserve, macro drivers, and outlook
The ETF rebound coincided with the Federal Reserve leaving its benchmark rate unchanged at a 3.75% to 4% target range. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh warned inflation remains above the 2% goal, keeping macro uncertainty elevated. Bitget analyst Lewis Huang said that without fresh direction from the Fed, Bitcoin's near-term trajectory may hinge more on Treasury yields, dollar moves, and broader risk appetite.
Ether ETF outflows continue
While Bitcoin spot ETFs saw inflows, Ether (ETH) related ETFs experienced further withdrawals, shedding about $21 million on Wednesday and widening October net outflows to $1.35 billion. Ether traded around $2,310, slipping roughly 1.7% in the past day.
Investors tracking crypto ETFs and spot Bitcoin flows should monitor macro drivers, yield dynamics, and ETF demand as key determinants for price momentum heading into month-end.
