Hisense Unveils $65 N3G Pro Gaming Monitors at 180Hz

Think a 180Hz gaming monitor has to cost hundreds of dollars? Hisense just tossed that idea out the window.

In China the company quietly introduced the N3G Pro series, a pair of budget-focused displays that aim to give refresh-rate-hungry players a real option without breaking the bank. The lineup ships in two sizes — 23.8-inch and 27-inch — both running 1080p panels at a speedy 180Hz. Availability starts July 9 in the Chinese market, with the smaller model priced at 449 CNY (about $65) and the 27-inch at 549 CNY (about $80) during the initial sale window.

Don’t expect flashy RGB stands or swivel-heavy ergonomics. These are straightforward monitors built around value. Both variants use IPS panels, and Hisense pushes a slightly higher contrast ratio of 1500:1 — a notch above the usual 1000:1 figure you see in budget IPS screens. The result is black tones that feel a touch deeper and scenes that hold a bit more detail in dim moments.

Brightness tops out at 300 nits, ample for typical indoor setups. Adaptive Sync is on board to help eliminate screen tearing, while motion clarity settings aim to keep fast action readable. Color reproduction holds up too: the N3G Pro covers 99% of sRGB and 90% of DCI-P3 with 8-bit color depth, which is plenty for everyday content consumption and casual creative work.

Hisense has also taken a hardware-centric approach to eye comfort. Instead of relying solely on software filters that tint the screen, the monitors implement hardware-level blue light reduction and DC dimming to minimize flicker and reduce eye strain. Both technologies carry TÜV Rheinland certifications, which gives the features some external validation.

Design is minimal. Bezels on three sides are very thin — about 1.6 millimeters — making these monitors practical for multi-display setups. The bundled stand is modest and only allows tilt from -5 to 20 degrees, but a 75 x 75mm VESA pattern is provided for those who prefer a separate arm or riser.

Connectivity covers the basics: one HDMI port and one DisplayPort, with power delivered via an external adapter. On the software side you’ll find common presets for gaming and movie watching, along with dark-scene enhancement tools to boost visibility in shadowy areas.
