Apple is reportedly testing a higher-end HomeView that places a 9-inch display on a robotic arm capable of 360 degree rotation, according to Bloomberg. The device is said to be intended as a step up from the current tabletop HomeView and remains under early development.
Bloomberg reports the new model will sit above the present HomeView in Apple’s lineup and estimates a possible release in 2027 or 2028. That two-year window reflects that the program is still at an early stage and that timing is not firm.

The existing tabletop HomeView uses a fixed 7-inch screen. In the described upgrade both the screen size and the mount change: the display grows to 9 inches and is mounted on a robotic arm that can rotate a full 360 degrees, meaning the panel can turn completely around on its axis.
Bloomberg mentions three tentative names for the product: HomeView Max, HomeView Ultra, and HomeView 360, and notes these are only speculative. Apple has not publicly announced a name or confirmed the project.
No details have been disclosed about price, the chip inside the unit, camera specifications, or software features for the larger model.
