Forget the teaser trailers—this one slipped into a certification database and said everything with numbers. A UL Demko entry has surfaced showing charging ratings for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 FE: 15V/3A and 10V/4.5A. That math points to a peak charging speed of 45W.
Is that fast enough? For fans of Samsung’s Fan Edition line, it’s familiar territory. The Galaxy S25 FE and this year’s S26+ both top out at 45W, while the S26 Ultra pushes 60W and the base S26 lags at 25W. In other words, the FE model sits squarely in the middle—faster than the standard S26, but not chasing the Ultra’s top-tier speeds.
The certificate lists several model numbers: SM-S741W, SM-S741U1, SM-S741U, SM-S741B/DS, SM-S741B, and SM-S741N. Those identifiers match earlier leaks. Geekbench sightings previously associated SM-S741U and SM-S741B with an Exynos 2500 chipset, Android 17, and 8GB of RAM, offering a clearer picture of the hardware Samsung might pair with this charging profile.

Design clues have also been floating around. A Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) entry hinted at the S26 FE’s wireless charging and alignment with Samsung’s recent design language, though the certification itself didn’t include photos or a full spec sheet.
Timing wise, the cadence hasn’t changed: the S25 FE debuted in September, and industry watchers expect the S26 FE to follow the same seasonal script. As the launch window approaches, expect more data points—real-world charge tests, regional model breakdowns, and maybe a price reveal—to fill in the gaps.
Numbers matter, but so do trade-offs. Faster charging is convenient, yet heat, battery longevity, and charger ecosystem all factor into the daily experience. Keep an eye on upcoming benchmarks and certifications. They tend to tell the story before the press invites arrive.
