Samsung published images showing a visible line on the iPhone Duo's main display, using the defect as the focal point of a new promotional push for the Galaxy Z Fold 8.
The company posted several pictures across its official pages that depict the line and accompanied them with the invitation "Come to the Galaxy Z Fold 8." Samsung has repeatedly targeted the iPhone Duo, Apple’s first foldable, in advertising since the phone’s unveiling.

Advertising pivot and context
The display issue reportedly appears in some iPhone Duo units, producing a line on the primary screen that can interfere with the user experience. The problem does not appear to be widespread, but Samsung has incorporated the images into a broader campaign that compares the two foldables.
Since the iPhone Duo was announced, Samsung has released dozens of teasers contrasting the rival device with the Galaxy Z Fold 8. In those spots the Korean company calls out differences such as lower weight and reduced thickness and uses each opportunity to critique the competing model.
