Samsung has brought its affordable Galaxy A08 4G to India, following a limited global roll-out last month. The handset arrives with a large 6,000mAh battery and a 6.7-inch LCD display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate.
It is on sale through Samsung's official online store and other offline retail partners, priced at INR 18,499 for the sole 4GB/64GB configuration.
Under the hood the Galaxy A08 uses the MediaTek Helio G99+ chipset, paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. A microSD card slot allows storage expansion up to 2TB.

The camera setup centers on a 50MP main rear sensor accompanied by a 2MP depth camera. For selfies there is an 8MP front camera housed in a waterdrop notch.
On paper the phone balances endurance and everyday features. The Galaxy A08 pairs a 6,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging.
The handset also includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IP64 rating for splash and dust resistance, and ships with One UI 8. It supports dual 4G connectivity and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Galaxy A08 is offered in Dark Blue, Green and Silver and is available now through Samsung's channels and retail partners.
