A South Korean report citing 'a Samsung official' says Samsung will start selling its Intelligent Eyewear in mid-December, with initial availability limited to South Korea and the United States.
Earlier this month a South Korean report had said the glasses would arrive in November; the new report gives mid-December as the likely on-sale date.
The report says Europe, China and Japan will be excluded from the initial release while Samsung gauges demand in the Korean and US markets.
Pricing has not been decided, according to the report.

According to the report, the Intelligent Eyewear run Android XR with Gemini and have no display. They include a camera, microphones and speakers and can perform real-time translation, provide voice directions and take photos of documents or meetings, which are automatically organised in the Notes app on a Galaxy phone.
The devices use the Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chipset and, Samsung says, offer up to nine hours of use on a single charge.
Samsung designed the frames in collaboration with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker and has shown four styles: two at Google I/O in May and two at a Galaxy Unpacked event.
The report notes Samsung followed a similar regional rollout with the Galaxy XR headset, which launched in South Korea and the US in October and reached the UK in July the following year.
