New leaks have laid out the design and technical details for Samsung's long-rumored Android XR smart glasses, giving the clearest picture yet of the product the company has been developing with Google and eyewear partners Warby Parker and Gentle Monster. The wearable appeared in prototype form at Samsung's Unpacked event in July, and is widely expected to be unveiled officially in November; the fresh documents describe frame styles, colorways and hardware in full.

According to the leaked materials, Warby Parker will supply three distinct frame designs: Wayfarer, round and cat-eye. Each frame will ship in colors listed as dark green, khaki, black and brown, and will support colored lenses. Because the glasses do not include an internal display and are audio only, customers can mix and match frames and lens tints. The leak says there will be ten different combinations of frame color and lens darkness in total.

Gentle Monster's catalogue shows a broader design palette: a sharply angled square frame, a standard oval and a narrower oval that was previously teased during Google I O promotional material. Gentle Monster's options lean toward lighter tones, with light gray, cream and pale lilac among the colors cited, and a similar variety of lens shades to the Warby Parker models.

Hardware and capabilities

Earlier reports established several core points that remain consistent in the new leak: the glasses run Android XR, use the Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip and include 12 megapixel cameras built into the frame. The new documents add more precise specifications. The device is listed with 2 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal storage. The 12 megapixel camera is said to record video at 3K resolution at 30 frames per second, a specification the leak notes as matching the Meta Ray Ban smart glasses on that metric.

Battery life is described as up to 9 hours of continuous use, with the accompanying charging case providing an additional claimed 72 hours. Audio output comes from two speakers integrated into the temples and four microphones appear on the frame. The microphones are identified in the materials as intended for use with Google s Gemini assistant.

The documents also list a very light reported weight of about 41 grams, though the leak does not clarify which frame this refers to. If accurate, that would be a notable advantage compared with Meta s Ray Ban, which the materials reference at about 50 grams.

The leaked files emphasize Samsung s intention to tie the glasses into its Galaxy ecosystem. The product is shown supporting a simultaneous connection with a Galaxy Watch, but that pairing will depend on a Samsung flagship phone acting as the communication bridge.

These details come from unofficial catalogues and leak sources rather than an official Samsung release, and some points remain marked as tentative. The product is expected to be presented publicly in November.
