Two rugged devices from French maker Crosscall have appeared for sale on French retailer AMG Pro, which specialises in tactical equipment. The listing shows a rugged handset, the Crosscall Core X7, alongside a rugged tablet, the Core T7, with the listings highlighting water, dust and drop protection.
The Crosscall Core X7 is advertised as capable of surviving submersion to 2 m for 30 minutes under an IPX8 rating, and the listing explicitly says this includes salt water, which many consumer phones do not claim. The phone is also described as dust tight with an IP6X rating and resistant to hot water jets under IP69K. Crosscall says the X7 passed 300 drop tests from 1.2 m following the MIL-STD-810H standard, and the manufacturer claims it can survive a fall from 2 m onto concrete. Operating temperatures are listed from -25°C to 60°C. Crosscall ships the X7 with a five-year warranty that also covers the battery. The handset measures 171 x 79.5 x 13.5 mm and weighs 280 g. The retailer listing gives memory and storage as 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, but it does not specify the chipset, the display, or the cameras.

The Core T7 tablet is shown with the same memory and storage figures, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, and the listing notes support for Crosscall's X-SPACE desktop environment. The tablet is presented as equally rugged, with IP68 protection for 2 m of salt water for 30 minutes, IP69K resistance to water jets, and MIL-STD-810H drop testing from 1.2 m onto concrete. Its operating temperature range is also -25°C to 60°C, and Crosscall lists a five-year warranty for the tablet as well. The Core T7 measures 261 x 167.9 x 13 mm and weighs 800 g.

The back of both devices shows a circular magnetic interface used for Crosscall's X-CABLE. According to the listing, the X-CABLE attaches magnetically and carries both power and data, although the data connection is only USB 2.0. The circular form is intended to remove orientation constraints, so the cable can connect at any angle.
Both devices are offered with a five-year warranty that also covers the battery.
