Panasonic's new 77Z8BA brings a 77-inch Master OLED Pro Cinema Size panel together with AI picture tuning, multidirectional sound, and gaming-grade performance — all wrapped in Fire TV's smart platform.
Hollywood-calibrated picture, boosted by AI
At the heart of the 77Z8BA is Panasonic's HCX Pro AI Processor MK II, tuned using insights from the brand's collaborations with Hollywood studios. That partnership shows: colors are natural, contrast is punchy, and brightness is managed with Dolby Vision IQ Precision Detail using built-in ambient light sensors. The set also applies AI-driven 4K remastering to sharpen streaming video and reduce noise, making older content look noticeably cleaner on the large panel.
Sound that fills the room
Audio is handled by 360 Soundscape Pro, tuned by Technics, and enhanced with Dolby Atmos support. The result aims for theater-like immersion, with clear dialog, directional effects, and weighty bass when required. In short: this TV won't leave you reaching for a soundbar immediately, especially for movies and Atmos-enabled streaming.
Smart TV features for everyday use
Fire TV is built in, so apps, live channels, and personalized recommendations appear on a single home screen. Far-field Alexa allows hands-free control to open apps, play music, or search shows, while the set also supports Apple Home and AirPlay for streaming from iPhones or iPads. Gamers get a serious spec sheet: a native 144Hz refresh rate, ultra-low latency, HDMI 2.1 with VRR up to 144Hz, plus compatibility with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium. Dolby Vision Gaming and True Game Mode refine color, contrast, and responsiveness, and there are dedicated audio presets for RPGs and FPS titles to enhance immersion. Pricing and availability
Pre-orders for the 77Z8BA begin October 27, 2025, with wider availability expected from mid-November. In the US the 77-inch 77Z8BA will retail at $2,499. Panasonic also lists a 77-inch Z95B model at $4,699. Global release details have not been announced.
