Xiaomi has pushed its premium TV lineup further with a colossal new model. The Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED Series 2026 now includes a 98-inch variant that combines flagship brightness, high refresh rates, and advanced Mini LED local dimming.
A 98-inch centerpiece built for brightness and motion
The new 98-inch panel is native 4K and runs at 144Hz, with a dynamic overclock option reaching up to 288Hz for ultra-smooth motion in supported content. It supports MEMC at 4K 120Hz, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and covers 93 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Peak brightness tops out at an impressive 5,700 nits, making HDR highlights truly stand out even in brightly lit rooms.

Mini LED, deep blacks and glare reduction
Powered by Mini LED backlighting, the flagship 98-inch model uses 880 local dimming zones to deliver stronger contrast and darker blacks than standard LED sets. Xiaomi bundles its Visual Engine Pro processing and a low-reflection coating to cut glare and improve perceived contrast for a more cinematic experience.
Immersive audio and eye-friendly features
Audio is tuned by Harman and follows a 2.1.2 layout: two 25W full-range speakers, a 15W subwoofer, and two 8W up-firing channels for height effects. The TV also includes Filmmaker Mode for director-intended playback and Xiaomi Qingshan eye protection to reduce strain during long viewing sessions.
Smart platform and modern connectivity
The series runs Google TV on a quad-core platform with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Connectivity is up-to-date with Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 6, and three HDMI 2.1 ports—making the set suitable for next-gen consoles and high-refresh PC gaming. Physical I/O also includes a 3.5mm audio jack and an Ethernet port.

Model range and pricing
The Mini LED S Pro Series 2026 is available in 55-, 65-, 75-, 85-, and now 98-inch sizes. Xiaomi has opened pre-orders for the 98-inch model in China at 7,599 Yuan (approximately 1,066 US dollars).
Who should consider the 98-inch Mini LED?
If you want a living-room centerpiece that doubles as a high-refresh gaming screen and a bright HDR display, this 98-inch Mini LED is compelling. It targets buyers who prioritize contrast, extreme peak brightness, and HDMI 2.1 features without stepping up to niche microLED pricing.
International availability and pricing haven’t been confirmed yet, but Xiaomi’s specs suggest the company is serious about expanding premium Mini LED options beyond its domestic market. Keep an eye out for global launch details if you’re shopping for a flagship 4K TV this year.
