Dell has quietly rolled out two new budget-focused gaming monitors in China, bringing 240Hz Fast IPS panels and gaming-friendly features to price-conscious players. The SE2426HG and SE2726HG aim to deliver competitive speed and color at a wallet-friendly price.
Speed and color where it matters
Both SE-series models pack a 1920×1080 Fast IPS panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and an extreme-mode gray-to-gray (GtG) response time of just 0.5 ms. Dell reports 300 nits of brightness, a native 1000:1 contrast ratio and 99% sRGB coverage, making these monitors suitable for fast-paced esports titles while still offering decent color accuracy for streaming or content creation.

Key specs at a glance
- SE2426HG: 23.8-inch FHD, 240Hz Fast IPS
- SE2726HG: 27-inch FHD, 240Hz Fast IPS
- 0.5 ms GtG (Extreme mode), 300 nits, 1000:1 contrast
- 99% sRGB color coverage and HDR10 support
- 178° viewing angles, anti-glare coating, low blue light and flicker-free tech
Ports, cables and ergonomics
Both monitors include two HDMI 2.1 TMDS ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 input — each capable of 1080p at 240Hz with HDR and variable refresh rate active. Dell bundles a 1.8-meter HDMI cable in the box, so you can get straight to gaming.
On the ergonomics side, Dell ships these with a tilt-only stand; there’s no height or swivel adjustment out of the box. However, both displays support a 100 × 100 mm VESA mount for third-party arms and stands. Bezels are slim at 5.9 mm on the top and sides, with a slightly thicker 14.69 mm bottom bezel.

Pricing, warranty and availability
On Dell’s official China store the SE2426HG is priced at 749 yuan (about $106) and the larger SE2726HG at 949 yuan (about $134). Each model ships with a three-year limited hardware warranty — a notable perk at this price point.
Where these fit in the market
These new Dell entries are aimed squarely at budget gamers who want 240Hz performance without paying for higher-resolution or premium features. For comparison, the monitor landscape still includes headline-grabbing flagships — like Asus’ ROG Strix XG27JCG, a 5K 180Hz model, and Philips’ Evnia 27M2N5500XD, which touts extremely high refresh experimentation. The SE2426HG and SE2726HG instead prioritize raw speed and value over bleeding-edge specs.
If you’re building an esports rig on a budget or want a dedicated fast display for competitive play, Dell’s new SE HG models are worth a look — especially given the combination of 240Hz Fast IPS panels, FreeSync Premium support and a three-year warranty.
