OnePlus N6: 45W SuperVOOC Confirmed, Dimensity 6300 Leak

Five minutes of charging for roughly 1.7 hours of video playback. Bold claim. OnePlus India posted a short clip on X that does exactly that — and suddenly the N6 looks like a battery marathoner with a sprinter's charging speed.

The company has confirmed the OnePlus N6 will ship with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging, and the demo promises a startling stat: 5 minutes of juice equals about 1.7 hours of video playback. The same clip hints at reverse wired charging, though OnePlus stopped short of detailing how quickly the N6 could top up another device.

We already knew OnePlus is staging a June 30 reveal for its new N Series and that the handset will carry an eyebrow-raising 8,000 mAh cell. Now the hardware rumors are stacking up with a Geekbench appearance for a device labelled CPH2955 — a model widely believed to be the N6.

The Geekbench entries list Android 16, 6GB of RAM and a MediaTek MT6835 octa-core chipset. That MT6835 fingerprint aligns with the Dimensity 6300: its two Cortex-A76 performance cores run as high as 2.4GHz, while the remaining six are Cortex-A55 efficiency cores capped at 2.0GHz. The Dimensity 6100+ looks similar on paper but tops out at 2.2GHz on its A76 cores, which helps pinpoint the 6300 as the likely silicon inside CPH2955.

Performance numbers are modest but sensible for a midrange platform: the best Geekbench reads show about a 788 single-core score and roughly 2,029 on multi-core. Not flagship territory. But pair that chip with an 8,000 mAh battery and 45W charging, and you get a phone that favors endurance and practical power recovery over raw benchmark bragging rights.

OnePlus has teased two colorways for the N6 and kept most other specs under wraps. With the official launch just days away, expect more reveals that clarify camera choices, display details and whether the reverse wired charging will be fast enough to matter in real-world use.
