You don't have to hunt for clues — Nothing has just pulled back the curtain on the Phone (4b). A short clip on the brand's official X account shows the new budget model in a pale, pastel blue that looks less like a bargain phone and more like a carefully styled accessory.
The rear is the story. Two cameras sit inside a broad rectangular island, and a slim vertical LED light bar runs down the island's right edge — a clear nod to the Phone (4a). Nearby, a pill-shaped cutout appears to house the LED flash and an autofocus sensor. The island wears a textured finish layered with Nothing's familiar design cues, while all the physical buttons are finished in black for contrast. Small touches, but they add up.

Flip it over and the front keeps things straightforward: a centered hole-punch selfie camera and noticeably generous bezels, with a thicker chin at the bottom. It doesn't hide its budget intent, but the styling choices keep the phone visually aligned with Nothing's higher-end models.
Expect the Phone (4b) to launch on July 7 in India and select global markets. Early reports point to a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 under the hood — a chipset that's becoming common in mid-tier handsets and should give the 4b respectable performance for its class.

Design-first thinking has been Nothing's signature since day one, and the Phone (4b) looks like an exercise in trimming cost without losing personality. Will the company keep that balance when pricing and specs are official? Keep an eye on next month's launch; the answer could reshape expectations for budget phones that want to be pretty as well as practical.
