That array reportedly pairs a 50-megapixel Sony primary sensor — a large 1/1.28-inch chip — with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 64-megapixel Sony periscope telephoto sporting a 1/2-inch sensor and roughly a 70mm equivalent focal length.

Sounds like a camera stack built for variety. The big primary sensor should help low-light shots and depth of field. The periscope, with that 70mm reach, looks primed for tighter portraits and distant subjects without resorting to digital cropping.
