Full Leak: Samsung Galaxy Watch9 and Ultra 2 Specs

The curtain hasn’t even risen on Samsung’s London Unpacked show and the watch story is already out—every spec, every price, spilled ahead of time.

At the heart of both models sits Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon Wear Elite, paired with 2GB of RAM. Modest memory, but sensible for a Wear OS device that’s clearly been optimized. Storage splits the lineup: 32GB for the Galaxy Watch9 and a roomier 64GB on the Watch Ultra 2.

Brightness wars, anyone? The Ultra 2 is said to pack a 1.52-inch AMOLED that can hit an eye-popping 5,000 nits at peak, built for direct sunlight and outdoor use. The Watch9 takes a different tack with two case sizes: the 40mm with a 1.34-inch screen and the 44mm stretching to 1.47 inches, each rated up to 3,000 nits. Both are reported to use sapphire crystal for added scratch resistance.

Battery figures look like a clear differentiator. The Ultra 2 allegedly carries an 800mAh cell—ambitious for a smartwatch—while the Watch9 arrives in 390mAh (40mm) and 445mAh (44mm) flavors. Samsung is expected to support WPC-based fast wireless charging across the family, which should reduce overnight charging anxiety.

Sensors are thorough: Samsung’s BioActive sensor joins a temperature sensor, barometer and geomagnetic sensor. In short, health and outdoor tracking get a serious look. The watches are said to run Wear OS 7 beneath One UI 9 Watch, blending Google’s platform with Samsung’s interface choices.

Connectivity checks all the boxes: LTE (with the Ultra 2 reportedly sold only in LTE form), Bluetooth 6.0, dual-band Wi‑Fi, NFC and GPS. Durability differs by model. The Watch9 reportedly carries IP68 and 5ATM water resistance, while the Ultra 2 aims higher with IP69K and 10ATM+—the kind of rating you expect for rugged, adventure-focused hardware.

And now the part everyone nudges their wallets for: pricing. The 40mm Galaxy Watch9 with Bluetooth is tipped at €409, rising to €459 for the LTE version. The 44mm Bluetooth model is pegged at €439, with LTE at €489. The Watch Ultra 2, apparently available only with LTE, is said to start at €749.

If these leaks hold true, Samsung is positioning the Watch9 as a mainstream, style-conscious choice and the Ultra 2 as a full-on premium tool for outdoors and performance users.
