Motorola Watch Ultra Renders Leak Reveal New Design

A glossy set of renders surfaced overnight, and they don't feel like a small iteration. They announce Motorola's intent to play in the 'Ultra' smartwatch ring with a design that looks deliberate and a little theatrical.

At a glance: a circular display, a large rotating crown tucked at ten o'clock and stamped with the Motorola batwing, plus a single physical button at four. The caseback in the images is blunt and informative — it lists a 46mm stainless steel case, and the usual durability markings you'd expect on a premium wearable.

Those markings are more than decoration. The render shows 50m water resistance and IP68 dust and water protection. GPS and LTE are also called out, which points to a standalone-capable device built for users who want connectivity without hauling a phone everywhere.

The strap shown looks like leather with red stitching — a nod toward style rather than pure sport—but it’s easy to imagine Motorola offering multiple bands to cover casual, outdoor and dressy use. Small touches like that shape how a watch is perceived more than the spec sheet ever will.
