A 10,000mAh battery in a Redmi handset. Sounds extreme, right? That’s precisely the claim surfacing from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, and it has the smartphone community buzzing.

Redmi already rolled out the K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max in China this month — models that are expected to appear globally as the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra. But the company hasn’t forgotten the base K100. The fresh leak sketches a device built for endurance and a few unexpected touches of polish.

The screen is reported to measure between 6.8 and 6.9 inches and carry an "ultra-high" refresh rate. Could it match the siblings’ eye-watering 185Hz? Maybe. The panel is said to be flat, and the fingerprint sensor will be embedded under the display using ultrasonic tech — a choice that favors reliability over gimmicks.

Redmi appears to have balanced endurance with daily comfort. Expect symmetrical dual speakers and a "relatively large" vibration motor for stronger haptics. Crucially, the phone is also tipped to offer IP68 dust and water resistance, a feature still rare at many price points.
