Motorola's IFA 2026 Lineup: Edge 70 Plus, Watch Ultra

Motorola didn’t just bring new hardware to IFA 2026 — it brought personality. From jewel-studded foldables to battery beasts and a smartwatch that finally feels like a standalone device, the company seems intent on turning design flourishes into reasons to upgrade.

The Edge 70 Plus is the headline-grabber, not because it chases flagship silicon but because it dresses well and performs reliably. Choose from four Pantone-certified finishes — Gray Lilac, Milky Blue, Mountain View and Sage — each with its own tactile treatment. The Mountain View trim has a silk-like feel inspired by old-growth forests; Gray Lilac blends mauve softness with a muted acetate strength; Milky Blue evokes early morning skies with a soft-luxe finish; and Sage channels rain-washed eucalyptus. It’s a subtle reminder that color and touch still matter.

Under that quad-curved glass — curved on both front and back to shave off sharp edges and make the handset sit easier in the hand — is a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED, Pantone-validated to keep colors honest. Audio is handled by Hi-Res-certified stereo speakers. Inside, the Edge 70 Plus runs a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and your pick of 128GB or 256GB storage.

Photography leans toward quantity and polish. Motorola fitted a 200MP main sensor — the largest resolution the brand has used — complete with optical image stabilization, up to 10x digital zoom and 4K video capture. There’s also a dedicated macro lens and a 32MP selfie camera. Motorola even applied Pantone color checks to camera output, focused on accurate color and believable skin tones.

Battery life is a headline stat: 6,500mAh. Charging hits 45W, and the phone supports bypass charging for continuous gaming — a small detail many power users will appreciate. The Edge 70 Plus arrives first in select European and Middle Eastern markets, with pricing to be announced.

If the Edge aims for style and endurance, the Watch Ultra goes for confidence. It’s a 46mm stainless steel wearable with IP68 and 5ATM ratings, running Wear OS on a Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip. Bright? Very. A 1.5-inch OLED tops out at 2,700 nits, which makes it legible even in harsh sunlight. Battery life is billed at up to two days of active use.

Motorola leaned on Polar for the health stack — yes, the same company known for pro-grade sensors — and the partnership shows. You get advanced sleep tracking features like Nightly Recharge and Sleep Plus Stages, a personalized sleep score, a Running Coach, and a branded breathing mode called Setene. Polar’s Activity Goal, Active Intensity Zone and Smart Calories functions are baked in, too. There’s dual-band GPS and, for the first time on a Moto watch, built-in LTE so it can function independently of your phone. Google Pay is included as well.

Strap options nod to those Pantone finishes again: breathable silicone and genuine leather in muted tones that match Motorola’s handset palette. The Watch Ultra will roll out across most major regions in the coming weeks.

Then there’s the Razr 70 — but not the everyday fold. Motorola reteams with Swarovski for the Brilliant Collection and produces a limited Razr 70 encrusted with 35 hand-placed crystals and a larger 32-facet jewel set into the hinge. It comes in PANTONE Meteorite with a quilted soft-touch finish and includes a clear protective case so the sparkle remains visible while protected.

Under the jewelled exterior the specs are familiar: a 3.6-inch cover display, a 6.9-inch Extreme AMOLED inner screen, a 50MP dual-camera array, AI features and a 4,800mAh battery Motorola says can stretch beyond 36 hours of use. This is clearly a fashion-first limited edition, aimed at collectors and anyone who likes their tech with a side of glamour.

Last but not least: Snap, a magnetic wireless charger that supports Qi 2.2 at 25W. It sports strong magnetic alignment, case compatibility, overheat and overcharge protections and claims zero standby power consumption. Motorola also offers a proprietary mode that boosts charging to 30W for compatible phones and bundles a braided 1.5m USB-C cable. In Europe you can buy Snap with an aluminum adjustable stand that has a silicone-lined holder and an Alcantara base.

Motorola is clearly betting on a mix of standout design, practical battery improvements and strategic partnerships to carve out attention at IFA 2026.
