Display and brightness

According to the tipster, the higher-end Mate 90 models, likely the Mate 90 Pro and Pro Max, will use dual-layer OLED panels with a peak brightness of 10,000 nits, while the top RS Ultimate variant could be even brighter. Dual-layer OLED means two emissive layers stacked in the panel; that arrangement can reach higher luminance without the same power draw as a single-layer design and can also improve panel longevity. In practical terms, the main benefit should be improved visibility outdoors in bright sunlight.
