Samsung quietly added the Galaxy A08 to its Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina websites, listing a model built around a 6,000 mAh battery.

A few days earlier an online retailer in the UAE had listed the device.

The phone has a 6.7-inch PLS LCD with 720x1600 resolution, a 50MP f/1.8 main rear camera, a 2MP f/2.4 auxiliary rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

Samsung lists a 6,000 mAh battery. The device uses an unnamed chipset with a 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU, paired with 4 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage.

It runs Android 17 with One UI 9. Samsung promises six major OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the model.

The A08 is rated IP64 for dust and water resistance, supports dual-SIM, and includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a fingerprint sensor.

Samsung shows the phone in silver, green and dark blue. European pricing is not listed; a UAE retail entry showed an approximate price of $170.

Compared with the Galaxy A07, the only apparent change is a 1,000 mAh larger battery.
