Market snapshot: $1.65 billion exits across spot ETFs
U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs recorded a combined net outflow of $1.65 billion during the five trading sessions from Nov. 2 to Nov. 6. The largest single contribution to that decline came from BlackRock's IBIT, which saw $1.21 billion in net redemptions over the week. Fidelity's FBTC bucked the trend slightly, posting a $93.1 million net inflow for the same period.
Where the selling pressure hit hardest
Bitcoin-focused products accounted for roughly $1.28 billion of the total outflow, while Ethereum ETFs registered about $365.2 million in net withdrawals. IBIT experienced outflows on each trading day in the window, including a notable $403 million exit on Friday alone.
Ethereum ETFs: ETHA under pressure, FETH shows resilience
On the Ethereum side, BlackRock's ETHA absorbed the most selling, with a weekly net outflow of $345.9 million. Data from Farside Investors show that Fidelity's FETH managed a modest $15.3 million net inflow in the same timeframe, underscoring a split picture among institutional issuers.

Short-lived inflow day could not stop the bleed
The only positive session in the five-day span was Wednesday, when Bitcoin ETFs attracted $74.6 million and Ethereum funds took in $53 million. Those gains were quickly reversed: Thursday and Friday combined for $1.04 billion in net withdrawals, with Friday alone accounting for $504.2 million.
Cumulative flows year-to-date
Despite the recent outflows, cumulative capital flows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs remain substantial. Through Nov. 6, total net inflows to Bitcoin spot ETFs stood at about $55.77 billion, while Ethereum spot ETFs have accumulated roughly $11.95 billion.
These shifts highlight the sensitivity of institutional spot ETF demand to short-term market sentiment and liquidity dynamics. Traders and institutional investors will be watching subsequent flows closely as macro headlines and crypto price movements continue to influence spot ETF allocations.
