Volkswagen expands Transporter range with two new UK trims
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has refreshed the Transporter line-up for the United Kingdom with two striking new trims: the performance-styled Sportline and the more accessible Commerce Pro S. The moves underline VWCV’s ongoing push to strengthen its commercial-vehicle foothold in the UK after a robust year — the brand reported roughly 401,000 global deliveries and growth across ID. Buzz and Multivan ranges.
Sportline: a bolder, sportier Transporter
The Transporter Sportline aims to inject more personality into a traditionally functional platform. Visually it stands out with revised front and rear bumpers, a rear spoiler, gloss-black grille and badges, black mirror caps and side skirts, plus lowered suspension to give it a purposeful stance. Exclusive 19-inch two-tone alloys and Matrix LED headlights with a red-accent grille finish the look.

Inside, the Sportline leans premium: eco-leather sports seats with contrast red stitching, a heated leather steering wheel, illuminated sill plates and footwell lighting, high-gloss black display surrounds and Sportline-branded floor mats. Practical tech includes Keyless Access, Area View cameras, heated and power-folding mirrors, and advanced driver assistance systems designed for both city and long-haul work.
Commerce Pro S: styling for the everyday operator
The Commerce Pro S brings sport-inspired details to a more commercially minded package. It features gloss-black 17-inch alloys, a body-coloured front splitter, extended rear spoiler and gloss-black trim touches that elevate the van without compromising practicality. It’s aimed at buyers who want professional capability with a smarter street presence.
Pricing, availability and special edition
Pricing reflects VW’s premium approach to these trims. The Commerce Pro S opens at £53,086 for the short-wheelbase (SWB) panel van and £54,130 for the long-wheelbase (LWB). Kombi (five-seat) variants start at £54,742 (SWB) and £55,786 (LWB).

Sportline pricing begins at £62,752 (SWB panel van) and £63,796 (LWB). Kombi versions are priced from £65,128 (SWB) and £66,172 (LWB).
To mark the 75th anniversary of the original VW Bus, Volkswagen will produce a limited-run Transporter Sportline 75 Special Edition — just 75 units. These models will feature a unique Moss Green paint, bespoke green contrast stitching and ‘Sportline 75’ badging. Prices for the Special Edition begin at £64,552 for the panel van and £66,928 for the Kombi.
Ordering for the Commerce Pro S begins later this month with first deliveries slated for April. Sportline order books open in April with deliveries commencing in May.

Where these trims sit in the market
The new trims are an effort by Volkswagen to appeal to buyers who want a blend of commercial functionality and passenger-car style. The Sportline targets customers who value image and driving feel — at a steeper price point — while the Commerce Pro S offers a mid-ground: professional utility with sharper design cues. For fleet buyers and small businesses, the choice will come down to budget, required loadspace (SWB vs LWB) and whether the extra features justify the premium.
Whether your priority is image, equipment or simply a dependable workhorse, VW’s refreshed Transporter family now gives UK buyers clearer choices across style, spec and cost.
