Tecno claims the Pova Curve 2 5G is the world’s slimmest phone with an 8,000mAh battery and a curved screen. At just 7.42mm thick and tipping the scales at 195g, it’s an unusual combination: a hefty-capacity cell inside a surprisingly svelte chassis.
The company says a full charge can stretch to around two days of typical use. That’s a practical pitch — and one that will matter more to users than marketing speak. Design touches include a triangular rear camera island that houses three sensors and a small transparent accent at the bottom-right of the back panel. It will come in three colorways, each highlighted in recent teasers.
Under the sheet-metal, rumors point to a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 platform. The display is expected to be a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, paired with a 50MP main shooter. Those specs would put the Pova Curve 2 in the mid-to-upper tier of performance for its price band, if they hold true.
