Leaks have a way of arriving like uninvited guests — loud, detailed, and impossible to ignore. A new set of official-looking renders, posted by a tipster on X, now offers the clearest peek yet at two soon-to-launch Poco phones: the X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max.
At first glance the pair don’t try to reinvent the wheel. They look polished and familiar, which makes sense if the chatter is right: these may simply be Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max models dressed in Poco colors. The images show clean, rectangular camera modules and restrained colorways — light blue, white, and black — with a small but deliberate flourish: the white variants appear to carry a red-accented power button that gives the design a bit of attitude.

Design cues are practical. Both phones adopt a hole-punch selfie cutout up front and uniformly slim bezels, a look that reads premium without theatrics. The X8 Pro Max is depicted with a dual camera array and a dual-LED flash, while the regular X8 Pro also sticks with two rear lenses but pairs them with a single LED flash. Little touches like those suggest Poco is balancing cost and flair rather than pushing camera-spec showmanship.
Specs leaked alongside the renders give a stronger sense of who these devices are meant for. The Max variant is tipped to ship with a 6.83-inch OLED panel, powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s, and backed by a hefty 8,500mAh battery that reportedly supports 100W fast charging. That's a battery size more commonly seen in power-focused phones than in slim mid-rangers.

The standard X8 Pro, meanwhile, is expected to use a Dimensity 8500 Ultra chip and a slightly smaller 6.59-inch AMOLED display, paired with a 6,500mAh battery. Those specs suggest Poco is aiming to cover two performance tiers: one for endurance and flagship-adjacent power, the other for a more balanced experience.
None of this is official yet. Poco has not confirmed launch dates or regional availability, and rebrand rumors should always be taken with a pinch of skepticism. Still, if the renders and spec leaks hold up, Poco could be preparing a pair of phones that lean on proven hardware while offering distinct battery and display profiles to appeal to different users.
