One day off. A widely shared rumor put the Pixel 11 reveal on August 11 — close, but not quite. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman posted an official invitation from Google, and the company has slated the big show for August 12 in New York City.
Google will hold the Pixel 11 launch in New York on August 12 at 6 PM local time. That timing translates to 3 PM in Los Angeles, 11 PM in London, midnight on August 13 in Central Europe, 1 AM in Eastern Europe and roughly 3:30 AM in India. Expect livestreams, demos and the usual stagecraft that accompanies flagship reveals.
Leaks that surfaced ahead of the invite point to a noticeable shift in storage and pricing. According to the latest whispers, both the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro will start at 256GB — and reportedly at the same price their predecessors carried when those models offered the same capacity. The situation looks different for the bigger, more premium siblings: the Pixel 11 Pro XL and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold are said to be getting a €100 hike across all variants.

What does that mean for buyers? If these reports hold true, Google appears to be normalizing higher base storage on the core models while nudging the ultra-premium hardware into a pricier bracket. Whether that translates into similar moves in the US, Asia and other markets remains to be seen; companies often stagger regional pricing decisions based on supply, local taxes and competitive positioning.
There’s still a lot we don’t know: final specs, camera improvements, battery life, and whether any software tricks will justify the price changes. The stage in New York should answer most of those questions. Will price-sensitive buyers shrug it off, or will the bumped storage and premium price tags redraw the purchase map? We’ll find out on August 12.
