Pixel Watch 5 Leak: Colors, Sizes and Price Hike Soon

A fresh batch of leaks suggests Google’s next smartwatch will arrive with more color options—and a slightly heftier price tag. Curious? You should be.

Google is widely expected to unveil the Pixel Watch 5 alongside the Pixel 11 series on August 12, and the rumor mill has been busy: reports point to two case sizes, multiple finishes and both Wi‑Fi and LTE models.

The smaller model is said to land as a 41mm option in four finishes: Dark Anthracite, Natural Silver, Pyrite and Warm Gold. Design notes are specific—Dark Anthracite and Pyrite are described with a satin finish, while Natural Silver and Warm Gold are polished, giving each variant a different visual personality on the wrist.

The 45mm Pixel Watch 5 appears to be more conservative in its palette, limited to Dark Anthracite, Natural Silver and Pyrite. Prototype photos circulating online, credited to Randy Pitchford, show the round, domed face Google has refined in previous generations, though final production units could still change subtle details.

Price whispers have followed the color leaks. The 41mm Wi‑Fi model is reported to start at €419 ($399), about €20 above the Pixel Watch 4’s baseline, while the 41mm LTE version could be around €519 ($499). Expect the 45mm to begin at roughly €449 ($429) for Wi‑Fi and €549 ($529) for LTE.

That adds up to a noticeable bump across the lineup compared with last year. Why pay more? LTE connectivity still carries a premium, and manufacturers often nudge prices when new finishes or hardware tweaks are introduced.

Wearers who favor a sleeker, polished look or the matte, satin vibe will have choices this time. But those deciding between sizes will want to weigh screen real estate, battery life and the LTE premium before they preorder.
