Investor breakeven and price action
Bloomberg Intelligence ETF analyst James Seyffart noted that the average Bitcoin ETF holder moved back into profit for the first time since January, as Bitcoin rose above his estimated ETF cost basis near $81,722 per coin. The inflows coincided with BTC trading around $86,000 on Tuesday, according to CoinGecko.
Bitcoin briefly surpassed $87,000 on Wednesday and traded near $86,467 at publication, gaining about 1.2% over 24 hours and 13.8% over seven days. The renewed demand for spot Bitcoin ETFs and continued ETF inflows suggest institutional and retail interest is returning as price momentum improves.
Investors tracking BTC, spot Bitcoin ETFs, and ETF inflows will be watching whether inflows sustain and push total assets back toward earlier highs, while broader market dynamics and macro conditions remain key drivers of ETF demand.
