A twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 paired with a hybrid motor-generator and a torque-converter automatic sits beneath the Cuorerosso's Liquid Ink paint, a finish Alfa Romeo says shifts from vibrant red to black depending on light.
Unveiled in Paris, the Cuorerosso concept presents Alfa Romeo's Bellezza necessaria styling language and previews design cues intended for the next-generation Tonale and Giulia. The Centro Stile in Turin began the project from a single solid clay block to focus on pure form; the result is a long, low silhouette the company describes as part Gran Turismo, part supercar.

The concept measures 185.0 inches (4,700 millimeters) long, 78.0 inches (1,980 millimeters) wide and 52.4 inches (1,331 millimeters) tall, with a 115.4-inch (2,930-millimeter) wheelbase. Alfa Romeo lists curb weight at 3,858 pounds (1,750 kilograms) and credits a drag coefficient of 0.28 to the fluid profile, reinterpreted Coda Tronca tail and an integrated low diffuser.
Design and materials
Styling centers on a modern Scudetto grille with illuminated triangular elements that form the brand emblem and create a pulsing light signature Alfa describes as a heartbeat. Slim teardrop LED headlights framed in carbon fiber, large gold teledial wheels and a flicked-up tail with rounded LED lamps reference the marque's 8C heritage. Rear-hinged doors open via a roof touch control to a wide, pillarless cabin.

Inside, the Cuorerosso is fitted with four individual bucket seats in black leather and red Alcantara. Cabin surfaces use regenerated leather containing 60% post-industrial waste from upholstery processing, while hand-finished Poltrona Frau nubuck is applied only where occupants contact surfaces. Alfa Romeo limits on-screen information by default; backlit OLED elements appear only when touched.

Controls, instruments and modes
The driver faces the Cannocchiale Vivente instrument arrangement and a three-spoke, flat-topped yoke styled under the Con-tatto Volante approach. Two display configurations—Immersivo and Concentrato—alter the instrument layout mechanically: in Immersivo the right dial slides behind the left to declutter information. Three drive themes are available: Cruise, Sport and Quadrifoglio.

Powertrain and outlook
Alfa Romeo says the Cuorerosso uses the same V6 that powers the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio, integrated with a hybrid motor-generator and a torque-converter automatic; the manufacturer did not disclose power or torque figures for the concept. For reference, the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 produces 533 horsepower (540 metric horsepower) in the limited-run Giulia GTA and GTAm variants, figures that in those cars translate to a 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 kph) time of 3.4 seconds and a 186 mph (300 kph) top speed.

Alfa Romeo describes the concept's drivetrain routing as sending power to all four corners via a carbon-fiber driveshaft and its Q4 all-wheel-drive system, with Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and Alfa-branded calipers for stopping power.
Alfa says the Cuorerosso may not reach production unchanged, but it will strongly influence a new Tonale replacement expected around 2028 and the styling of the next Giulia, with production models arriving later this decade.
The Cuorerosso debuted in Paris finished in Liquid Ink and carries interior and exterior details intended to inform Alfa Romeo's upcoming roster rather than announce a specific production model.
