Geely will send Project KO11 to Europe next year, but not in the China-market Extended-Range Electric Vehicle form. Instead, regulatory constraints mean the model bound for European showrooms is expected to arrive as a plug-in hybrid or possibly an all-electric variant rather than the 2.0-liter EREV configuration sold in China.

The KO11 was revealed as a "one more thing" conclusion to Geely's press conference at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Known in China as the Geely Cruiser 700, the vehicle made headlines in Paris where Geely also displayed the Monjaro EM-i, the Lynk & Co 07GT, and the Zeekr 9X amid a heavy Chinese presence of some 20 brands at the show.

Powertrain and structure
In China the Cruiser 700 uses Geely's EREV system that pairs a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with three electric motors for a peak output of 1,113 horsepower in its strongest specification. The Chinese model employs a 70-kWh Golden Brick battery built from Geely Short Blade cells and advertises up to 350 km CLTC pure electric range, or about 217 miles CLTC. Lower-spec variants offered in China include a smaller battery and a 1.5-liter engine.

The KO11 sits on Geely Terrain Architecture, an integrated-frame approach that combines a unibody structure with a heavy-duty cage frame to save space and weight while raising torsional rigidity. Geely says the Cruiser 700 / Project KO11 is the first model to use this architecture, and its design follows classic off-roader proportions: a boxy silhouette, high hood line, and a swing-out tailgate with an externally mounted spare wheel.

Because European emissions rules effectively rule out the EREV layout used in China, Geely plans to market KO11 in Europe as a PHEV unless it opts for a battery-electric version with a larger pack. A full BEV is not impossible, but a pure-electric KO11 would require significant battery capacity to match the practical range of the EREV and could compromise payload or off-road equipment.

The KO11's name for Europe has not been confirmed. Geely has avoided exporting the Cruiser 700 nameplate to Europe, citing potential legal entanglements with other manufacturers, and ruled out the Battleship 700 name as an obvious fit for the European market. Australia will receive the EREV off-roader under the Battleship 700 name.
The Chinese market price for the Cruiser 700 starts at 179,800 yuan. Geely says the Europe-bound Project KO11 will arrive in the region in about a year, with final specifications and nomenclature to be confirmed closer to launch.
