Samsung has added Polish, Thai and Vietnamese to its Bixby voice assistant, bringing the assistant's total language support to 12.
The company said the language expansion is part of a broader update to Galaxy AI features across compatible devices. The Bixby language update begins today; Samsung said other Galaxy AI capabilities will receive new language packs in the coming weeks.
Expanded support across Galaxy AI features
Samsung said its practical AI tools now include additional language support. Call Assist, the live translator, Note Assist and Transcript Assist each gained support for Hungarian and Malay, increasing the number of languages covered by live translation and transcription features to 24.

Now Nudge, introduced with the Galaxy S26 family, received eight new languages: Dutch, Filipino, Gujarati, Hungarian, Malay, Romanian, Swedish and Turkish. Samsung says Now Nudge now supports a total of 24 languages.
Users of compatible Galaxy phones and tablets will be able to download the new language packages through the device settings after each package is officially released.
