Caviar World Treasures: iPhone Duo in 18K Gold and Diamonds

Caviar has unveiled the World Treasures collection for Apple’s foldable iPhone Duo, offering four luxury variants that replace the standard exterior with materials such as 18 karat gold, platinum 950, decorative enamel and natural diamonds. The lineup reaches up to $90,290 for the most expensive design, while Caviar says the phone’s hardware and technical specifications remain unchanged across all models.

Models and specifications

The priciest model, Dali, is listed at $90,290 and uses an 18 karat gold body with asymmetrical flowing lines inspired by the surrealist work of Salvador Dali. Sections of the case are finished in purple enamel, and the Apple logo on the rear is reworked with 36 natural diamonds.

Jingtai Blue, priced at $80,290, features an 18 karat gold frame and floral motifs over a multicolored enamel rear panel set on a blue ground. Caviar says the design draws on the traditional Chinese enamel technique known as Jingtai Lan, a style that developed during the Ming dynasty.

Two other models, Qasr Al Noor and Omkara, are each priced at $73,000. Qasr Al Noor is the only model finished in platinum 950, a platinum alloy composed of approximately 95 percent platinum, and carries symmetrical Arabic-inspired patterns meant to evoke Middle Eastern palace architecture.

Omkara uses an 18 karat gold body with a central Om emblem decorated in red enamel and surrounded by 36 diamonds. Gold relief around the emblem is engraved with a lotus flower motif.

Production is limited because of the expensive materials and the hand-finishing required. Caviar will make only seven units of each of the Dali, Omkara and Qasr Al Noor models, while the Jingtai Blue edition will be limited to eight units.

Each custom iPhone Duo ships in a wood and leather presentation box whose inner compartment is plated with 24 karat gold.
