Honda updated the CBR600RR for the 2027 model year and fitted it with Fireblade-derived hardware, including radial-mount front brake calipers and a three-mode ABS.

Honda presented the 2027 CBR600RR on 21 October 2026.

The bike retains its aluminum twin-spar frame and aluminum swingarm. Suspension is Showa 41 mm front forks and a Showa Pro-Link rear shock.

The engine is a 599 cc inline four tuned to 119 hp at 14,500 rpm and 63 Nm at 11,500 rpm. Power is routed through an assist/slipper clutch and a quickshifter; the exhaust is a 4-2-1 system.

The electronics package is derived from the Fireblade and offers three standard riding modes plus two customizable modes. ABS provides three selectable modes.

The CBR600RR rides on 17-inch cast aluminum wheels front and rear and gains a revised front end with a downforce-generating spoiler. Honda will offer Ignition Red TriColour and Matt Ballistic Black Metallic in Europe.

Honda will offer three Honda Racing Corporation track-only race kits that require removal of road safety systems and add a racing ECU, racing exhaust and revised suspension.

Honda says it has sold more than 9,600 CBR600RR units in Europe since the model returned in 2024 and highlights the bike's racing pedigree, including five consecutive FIM World Supersport titles in the mid and late 2000s, four straight Asia Road Racing championships in the 2010s and multiple All-Japan Road Race championships.

Honda says the updates are intended to sustain sales; the 2027 CBR600RR will reach European dealers later in the model year.
