Land Rover quietly introduced an Alasia styling pack in Spain on 19 October 2026, and the announcement carries a subtle contradiction: alongside a new cosmetic option, the company is also offering a way to remove one of the Defender 90's most visible exterior features. The Spanish report, published by Aurel Niculescu on Land Rover's Spanish media portal, revealed the new finish and a companion spare‑wheel removal kit that is now appearing on European ordering pages.

The Alasia Pack applies Cyprus Copper accents to the Defender's exterior, a Mediterranean-inspired treatment Land Rover links to the island's ancient name Alasia and to copper's historical importance in the region. The copper finish is applied to the front grille bar, the side vents and the rear towing eyes, a restrained touch intended to add elegance without altering the model's off-road capability.
The styling pack was shown on multiple Defender bodystyles. The Spanish listing mentions availability for the Defender 90, 100 and 130, while Land Rover's Europe ordering information lists the Alasia Pack for the Defender 90, 110 and 130. The company has not published pricing for the option.

Spare-wheel removal for the Defender 90
At the same time Land Rover is offering a spare-wheel removal kit for the Defender 90, removing the full-size wheel mounted on the rear door. Land Rover says the kit improves rear visibility and makes manoeuvring in tight spaces easier. The maker has not introduced a separate rear door without a mounting point for the spare wheel.
The Alasia Pack joins Land Rover's expanding roster of personalization choices as the brand continues to present region-specific releases through segmented JLR media portals for Range Rover, Defender and Discovery. The Alasia Pack and the spare‑wheel removal option are now shown as orderable across Europe for the Defender 90, 110 and 130, with pricing still to be announced.
