YouTube channel AutoYa and its spin-off AutoYa Interior published unofficial CGI renderings that imagine an all-new 2028 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban.

AutoYa's images are unofficial CGI and do not confirm production details or powertrains.

The channel's host said he expects next year to bring new generations for both Tahoe and Suburban, with exterior and interior updates and new powertrain options.

The renders show a revised front end with split headlights, a full-width LED bar, new headlamp units and a redesigned bumper. The profile is largely unchanged and the rear receives revised LED taillights.

Interior changes in the images are mostly minor, and the renders depict a broad palette of interior and exterior colors.

It is a logical assumption that Tahoe and Suburban would follow the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and adopt similar powertrain options, but that remains speculative and unconfirmed by GM.

Chevrolet revealed the next-generation Silverado 1500 earlier this year in the first month of summer, and GMC followed with the latest Sierra 1500. The two share underpinnings, full exterior and interior redesigns and four powertrain options.

Carried-over engines include the more potent 2.7-liter TurboMax four-cylinder and the 3.0-liter Duramax diesel, and the manufacturer says all powertrains now use a ten-speed automatic transmission.

Major novelties for the Silverado line are newly introduced 5.7-liter and 6.6-liter small-block V8s. The heavy-duty range gained an 8.3-liter Duramax "Mongoose" diesel aimed at Ford Super Duty and Ram HD competitors.

GM is allegedly spending no less than $750 million to electrify some of its largest SUVs, including the Chevy Traverse, Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia.

AutoYa describes the 2028 changes as subtle and possibly a second facelift rather than a full redesign. The channel presents the work as speculative CGI, not an official Chevrolet announcement, and the host believes the next generations will appear next year.
