Market Positioning and Pricing
Chevrolet positions the Bolt as its most affordable electric vehicle, slotting below the Equinox EV in the lineup. The Equinox EV starts at $33,600 (excluding a $1,395 destination fee), so the Bolt will be targeted to deliver an even more budget-friendly entry point into electric mobility for mainstream buyers.
How It Compares
Compared with the Equinox EV and newer BEV platforms, the 2027 Bolt is a value-oriented offering: smaller, lighter, and aimed at buyers prioritizing price and practicality over maximum range or premium features.
